dear time,
how have you flown by so fast? i'm still in shock that i've been in new york for seven months. seems like yesterday that i was in savannah finishing up school (mind you, i was home in california for three months over the summer but i guess i remember savannah more??)

dear random snow days,
nobody invited you back. everyone is moodier/meaner when you are around. it's spring, not winter...okay bye.

dear rare and beautiful sunny days,
don't go. please stay. you have no idea how much you boost my energy and mental health even if i still have to wear my snow coat. when you show up, everyone else seems to be in a better mood too.

dear modern family,
i was facetiming my family this week and they were watching you cracking up. what was really impressive was that even my mom (she isn't really a "tv" person) was getting a kick out of the show. gosh, you never get old. you never fail to make me laugh so hard that my stomach hurts.

dear corner bodega that i always go to,
thank you thank you so much for opening a flower stand. you don't realize how happy you've made me...i'm sure the flower guy knows since he always sees me staring at the blooms as i walk by on my way home.

dear upcoming week at home,
you are much needed-really feeling like a need a break from the hustle and bustle. i'm also really excited to see my family and my roo bugg. honestly, it kills me being so far away because i often feel like i am missing out on my youngest sister's life (we are pretty close). interesting fact: i purposefully moved back home to be closer to family but look where i ended. God has a funny way of placing you in the most unexpected places.
