petites lettres: resurrection
hi guys! it’s October and i’ve decided to resurrect the blog! again! for the millionth time!
i initially shut it down because i was feeling uninspired, not creative and well, i didn’t want to keep paying the monthly fees for keeping this baby live. after not having a place to stream my thoughts, i realized that i did in fact, really need this platform. i could write really long comments on my instagram posts but to be honest, i start going crossed-eyed when the caption is more than 5 sentences long (i know i am offending so many people right now, however, i share nothing but the truth).
i love where i’m at right now in life but i also know that i really miss being creative and making things (“things” is the perfect word for me because i never made just one “thing”). my mom told me one day last week-yes i talk to my mom quite frequently and yes, we have a healthy relationship in my opinion…ANYWAYS, she told me that someone has told her that they found my writing quite interesting. of the other bloggers (i’m in no means a blogger), i was able to keep their attention. to keep them intrigued. i’ll tell you my secret that probably has never been a secret…i write exactly how i feel. how i would express myself to you in person is the same as how i express myself to you here on this platform. all me. all my random squabbles, likes and dislikes. my grammar may be totally way off (i’m going to pretend we weren’t forced to do it every day for a million years) but i write from my heart. even if i’m not creating anything physically, i’m creating the stories i want to share with you.
anywho..if we are also being honest, i mainly wrote this post because i wanted to share that i bought my VERY FIRST bottle of salad dressing last week. i guess this is what Twitter is for but i still refuse to tweet so here we are, writing a 300 word story all just to share that i, Katie Wong, bought my very first bottle of dressing.
i hope you are just as excited as i am to be back on here (or not but i’m over it)!! can’t wait to share the wild & wonderful things with you!
